As a male when it comes to the problem of frequent urination there are several traditional options and 1 New Way to make your quality of life a whole lot better.
You can:
1) keep making numerous trips to the bathroom during the day and getting up frequently at night to keep from wetting the bed.
2) you can opt to WEAR adult briefs more commonly called diapers.
3) if your issue has reached a critical level you can opt for catheterization. There are two types of catheterizations, there is the standard one where they insert the tube into your penis or there is a less invasive one called condom catheter which basically is a plastic guide that slips over the penis with the drain tube connected to the end. Both require connection to a urine bag which you must maintain and keep with you. The bag is attached to your leg if you’re still mobile otherwise it can be attached to your wheel chair. Each option has its advantages and disadvantages. I personally have lived through
experience with option one, option two and option three with using the condom catheter. And then I found out about a new option – the Zcup.A dream come true!!!
Several months ago, my father lost his ability to utilize his legs along with other major health conditions. He is wheel chair bound and needs 24-hour care.
