Clinical Studies

Zackcup® LLC has conducted several preliminary feasibility studies using the Zcup prototype. Patients and caregivers who have used the product have universally loved it. Patients have noted the device met their needs; ease of use, comfortable, supported their independence, safety, dignity, and privacy. Hence, they preferred using this device rather than any other urinal device.

We are in the beginning stages of a proof of concept to conduct a clinical trial study of the current Zackcup® urinal prototype. This study is to gather data that proves the Zackcup® urinal prototype can be implemented and deliver its intended benefits. This soft, disposable urinal is practical, beneficial, and user-friendly.

This clinical trial study will include 5-10 people and their caregivers over four weeks. We will evaluate the outcomes of the healthcare clinical after four weeks based on caregiver observations, patient questionnaires, and clinical notes and observations.
